SWOT Analysis in Quality Improvement Planning in Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools

This study aims to analyze SWOT in quality improvement planning at the integrated Islamic elementary school Ad-Durrah Medan. uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection was carried out systematically, starting from observations, interviews informants, and document studies. analysis reduction techniques (data sorting), data presentation, conclusion drawing. Finally, validity of tested through persistence observations triangulation data. The results this concluded that plan SDIT Medan well implemented, including tahfiz al-Qur'an program, strengthening character education, adding extracurricular activities, personal development programs. is characterized by 4 aspects, namely (1) strengths, strategic locations, adequate learning facilities, competent human resources, conducive beautiful climate, assessment standards involve (coordination) parents/guardians students; (2) weakness, form an unaccredited school; (3) opportunities, including; potential (talents) students, support parents/guardians, academic non-academic achievements students city provincial levels, as harmonious relations between surrounding community; (4) threats, critical attitude students' guardians towards children's development, so teachers must be wiser leading learning, making decisions giving exemplary attitudes.
